An Easy Picnic Brunch You Can Assemble Outside

It’s the freakin’ weekend, which means you should not be awake early enough for breakfast. Sleep in. It’s all about brunch.

It’s that time of year where you’re going outside for everything. The temperature’s just warm enough, the bugs aren’t annoying yet, and maybe you wouldn’t mind getting a little color from the sun.

You’re going, so why not take your brunch with you? For this recipe, the only pre-picnic prep is slicing and stirring; you can assemble your open-faced sandwich when you’re ready to eat it. And if you’re feeling social, why not invite friends? (Because serving cool, Scandinavian-influenced food isn’t showing off at all…)
